Primary Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Owns the product roadmap
Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team
Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
Accountable for the product, delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Identifies and help the client understand the value proposition
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
Grooming and prioritizing backlog
Developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer
Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks
Innovation and end-to-end launch of products
Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Also write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high level design of the application
Create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
ODX Product, ODX Client Migrations and NCC Conversions

Required Qualifications:
Product Owner with about 10 years of experience in HealthCare
Previous Technical Experience in Java, J2EE, JSP, JSF, Angular JS etc., would add value
Experience on being a PO for teams responsible for building, maintaining, optimizing or modernizing applications on (or to) Public Cloud, preferably Azure, show-casing event driven, elastically scalable, fault tolerant and other cloud native architecture patterns
Healthcare domain experience, particularly on EMRs, HIEs etc.
Hands-on experience in HL7
Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
Solid understanding and experience in executing projects in the Agile Methodologies
Fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
Customer first mind set
Proactive, self-starter with excellent project ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
Ability to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it.
Ability to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates.
Ability to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment.
