The Knowledge Marketing, Communications and Change Management team increases visibility and buy-in of teams, initiatives, processes, platforms and services both internally and across the broader BCG community. The team sets the marketing, change management and communications agenda and strategy for firm-wide and large scale change and marketing initiatives impacting both our customers, the BCG Consulting Staff, and the knowledge organization. The team is instrumental in developing go-to-market strategies for the Knowledge business lines, driving change initiatives and marketing for knowledge and collaboration tools and products, and serves as the voice of KPA (Knowledge Practice Area) leadership.
We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill the Change Communications Coordinator role in the Marketing, Change & Communications Team within BCG’s Knowledge Practice Area. The ideal candidate must have rich internal communications and/or change communications experience within professional services/consulting industry.
The individual must have experience and passion to design, develop and implement innovative, creative engagements and communications solutions some of BCG’s largest and most complex change initiatives in the digital collaboration tools space. She/he will support the thoughtful planning and engagement for a broad array of stakeholders, assist in developing comprehensive change management and communications plans and stakeholder maps for key initiatives. The role may also require close collaboration with our Design teams and vendors.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Develop and lead communications efforts for individual projects in close collaboration with Change Manager
Support development of appropriate stakeholder maps and change communications plan to ensure all stakeholders (including target audiences) have the needed information to support project success
Draft and design articulate and visual messages to execute the change strategy
Develop multi-media materials for user support of tools
Help translate business rationale (e.g. slides, data from potentially disparate inputs) to a compelling story in various media forms (such as video, reference materials, PPT etc.)
Stay abreast with the latest trends in communications and support efforts to identify modern and energizing tools/vehicles to communicate
Utilize and find various channels to communicate with our target audience
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
2-4 years of experience in professional services internal communications and (B-to-B) marketing; experience with email marketing tools and marketing analytics preferred
Familiarity with highly technical products and ability to showcase their value in simple language using an omni-channel content distribution strategy
Internal BCG candidate strongly preferred due to existing relationship with culture
Excellent verbal and written communication. Fluency in English (writing, reading, speaking)
University degree with demonstrated high academic achievement
Experience with knowledge and collaboration tools e.g. Egnyte, Trello, Slack, Office 365 suite including leveraging collaboration tools to gamify user experience a plus
Experience in defining, measuring, assessing and improving KPIs associated with communications
