Title : Quality Engineer Location : Chennai, India Grade : 8 The Quality engineer would play a key role in the Manufacturing operations Quality function responsible for delivering product quality assurance. The person would work in a high paced environment involving interactions with manufacturing operations team to develop and implement best quality practices that emphasizes defect prevention and continuous improvement culture in the manufacturing facility. The responsibilities in the role include:
Responsible for ensuring that the manufactured parts produced meet NCR quality standards
Monitor and report on manufacturing FTT, CQA & OOBF
Conduct detailed product/process audits, identify potential risks and drive actions
Collaborate with cross functional team on process improvements opportunities
Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken timely to address any quality issues identified
Conduct regular quality verification audits and report audit feedback timely
Engineering graduates (Mech / EEE / ECE) with min 3 years of industry experience in manufacturing / quality assurance function
Good knowledge of ISO quality standards
Experience developing quality plans/audits
Experienced in handling all measuring instrument (Mech / Electrical)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
Willingness to work in shifts
Good communication skills
