Purpose of the Role:
Ecommerce channel has emerged as the future growth engine in a fast paced dynamic start up business environment and is a strategic organisational priority. This role will contribute to building this business and setting roadmap for the future.
Asst Manager-Ecom is a pivotal role in Ecommerce team, working with set of E Key retailers & developing productive long term relationship with them.
Core responsibility is to hold end to end engagement with business partners – Order Generation & Execution, Revenue, Profitability, Share and executions. .
This role will work with cross functional team, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial.
Post a successful stint in this role, there will be opportunities to continue in larger roles within Ecommerce team or move in to different sales verticals.
Key Account Management
Understand retailer Dynamics & engage with National / Regional players
Work on prefixed JBP to freeze Activation Calendar, business plan.
Explore additional business opportunities through Activation / Events.
Periodic business review with Accounts – Visibility/ Fill rate/ MBQ / Market share
Analyse current & historic sales volume /trend, understand the gap and opportunities - build plans
Coordinate with customer procurement team & BIL Distributor also review order vs supply.
Drive efficiencies : Operation / Execution :
Deliver the sales objectives of volume, value, market share.
Manage order generation through regional buyers of E-Retailers.
Leverage trade marketing inputs (Schemes & Digital support) more effectively looking at the investment & opportunity to maximise sales
Brand level distribution, focus brands availability, Online platform execution (promo, visibility elements, activation KPIs
Achieve customer support service levels by accurately forecasting, planning & scheduling
Monitor fill rates / in stock availability & to work closely with replenishment team for continuous improvement.
Manage supplies for indirect parties (supplied by distributor) through ACD Distributors.
Commercial Management :
Ensure commercial adherence in promo execution/ Pricing control at Account levels.
Claim management & Reconciliation from Accounts with BIL commercial team
TOT negotiation with new accounts to create a win-win deal.
Collate data and prepare reports to track various Spends vs revenue gain.
New Product Management :
Work closely with Digital Agencies for listing / launch of new products.
Drive the channel priorities on new launches / channel specific GTM plan.
Superlative execution in terms of distribution, Stock planning & basic field efficiencies
Regular review and progress tracking with accounts related to new Launches.
