Reporting into the Head of HR in Delhi, the role holder will be required to take end-to-end ownership of the learning and development programmes in the region: from needs analysis, to management and execution of the programmes. This will include the following:
Design and deliver business skills courses aligned with the Firm’s objectives
Facilitate leadership development programmes, presenting credibly to participants at all levels, including senior-level audiences
Work closely with Head of the Departments, Team Managers, Business HR Partners and Global Academy team to assess learning and development needs and implement programmes that meet the objectives
Ensure that new hires and current employees are learning new skills quickly and developing expertise in the relevant areas
Apply subject matter knowledge to continuously improve programme design
Working with Procurement team to commission external training providers, whether for classroom courses or online courses.
Representing HR in group or cross-group projects which involve learning aspects.
Coach mid or senior leaders to aid learning and development on an individual basis.
Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Provide inputs in the training expense budgeting and forecasting. Track expenses and report as required.
Skills & Experience
You will be a good networker who has a track record of building the necessary internal and external contacts to develop a good reputation.
You will be liaising with internal stakeholders, global Academy team and external contacts at all levels, so you will have outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to establish good relationships quickly.
Your interpersonal skills must be strong, and you should maintain a professional manner at all times.
You will have a good knowledge of virtual classroom tools (particularly Adobe Connect) and be practised at using them at a high level as well as able to train and support others to use them.
Bachelor's degree with qualifications in business, organizational development, instructional design, adult learning, multi-media technology (Master’s degree in business, HRD/OD preferred).
You will have:
Experience in designing and delivering skills training on business skills in a classroom or face-to-face basis for people at all levels within an organisation. A compelling presenter to any level of audience with a very high level of communication skills.
Experience in delivering skills training by means of on-line webinars and assisting others to deliver by this method.
A track record of consulting effectively at all levels about learning interventions of all types, whether formal or informal.
Experience in working within a professional service firm is also desirable.
Strong and up-to-date knowledge of skills related theory and methods of learning. You will be seen as an expert in these skills by the business.
You will have a good level of technical knowledge around the functioning of Learning Management Systems, in particular Cornerstone on Demand, would be desirable.
A good knowledge of online business skills content and how it might be used
You will have a good knowledge of MS Office and be open to learning new systems.
