We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join the team.
Associates are an integral part of the Investment Banking team at HSBC, providing quantitative and analytical support for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and other financial advisory services. Our associates work closely with senior bankers during all stages of a transaction and typically also manage analyst resources on a deal.
The associate position is a generalist position but candidates are expected to develop responsibility for executing transactions within a focus area within 2-3 years
Associates are assigned to a variety of projects and are given a broad range of responsibilities, some of which include:
Managing and assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations
Creating client marketing presentations
Supporting senior bankers to develop and actively manage client relationships
Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
Helping with execution of Equity and Debt offerings
Education Qualifications / Certifications and Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree / Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher
Strong work ethic and self-motivated
Keen attention to detail
Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
3-4 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience
