We invite application for the position of Project Assistant, based in Delhi, India will provide support to the overall administration, logistic, procurement and financial management activities of the project in supervision of the PADM to support for the implementation of day-to-day activities of the project. This position reports to the Project Administrative (PADM), Delhi.

Administrative, Logistic and Financial Management support

Assist with the development, coordination, and monitoring of sub-contracts and sub-agreements, consultant agreements, work orders, purchase orders and other contracts
Provide all logistic support to the program team and liaise with partners to arrange meetings, trainings, workshops, field trips and other travels. Organizing meetings and workshops includes but not limited to preparing invite list, sending out invitations, taking care of logistic requirements of participants, taking notes and preparing/distributing timely minutes
Provide support to team in financial management
Provide support to the Project Administrator in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets
Verify all the expense vouchers before the Project Administrator approval
Support to Project Administrator in tracking and monitoring data for all the expenses of the project
Provide administrative support for securing all necessary in-country approvals
Assist in ordering equipment and supplies for project sites

Programmatic support

Provide day-to-day support to project team in the implementation and monitoring of project activities
Organize, assemble, and distribute reports, communication and advocacy materials, and other documents
Assist in transcription, interpretation and translation of project documents and materials, and formatting of documents and presentations
Assist Program Manager and other team members in setting up team meetings and following up team action items/assignments
Provide other administrative support as and when required
Any other task assigned time to time

Required Skills

Required Experience

Bachelor degree in administration or commerce or relevant field
At least three years of relevant work experience in public health or with an NGO
Experience in providing logistic and administrative support
Demonstrated financial management skills
Experience in working with ERP financial system
Excellent computer skills using MS Office
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to work in a diverse team, spread across geographically
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team
Well organized, work well under deadlines, flexible/adaptable to changing priorities
Willingness and ability to travel within India up to 20 percent per year

Must have legal authorization to work in India.
