Analyst will process daily activities of the team, perform complex tasks and act as a first level of processor within the team. Analyst will be responsible to ensure that all tasks assigned to the team are done accurately and all the exceptions items are followed up to resolution. Analyst will also facilitate projects, group initiatives and exception processing resolution. Solid technical understanding of the business is expected, including strong knowledge of Trade Operations and Trade life cycle and a sound understanding of various investment products like Equities, Fixed income, Derivatives, Structured products and Exchange traded funds at the end of the Probation period.
Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Ability to demonstrate a sound of understanding of a range of Equity Derivative products as well as Cash Securities. Strong Team-working skills – for working with both internal departments globally.
Complete initial review of all exotic and structured products, including review of trade bookings, settlement representations, and trade documentation
Liaise with Derivatives Sales, Traders, Clients, Middle Office, Accounting, Documentation, Operations, and Collateral Management.
Lifecycle management of exotic, structured, and listed trades – this involves performing trade entry, monitoring contingencies on structured trades, and processing any events related to our positions (e.g. swap resets, corporate actions, option expirations or assignments)
Experience preferred with Derivatives products including Listed and OTC options, Futures, Structured Products including Structured Notes, Total Return Swaps, and Variance Swaps
Awareness of Front-to-Back processing: trading, clearing, settlement, financial accounting, risk
Able to arrive at Dividend point calculation for the Swap Trades to match with Client.
Foster and maintain communication channels with internal teams and external clients/counterparties
Work with manager to complete long-range projects designed to improve workflows, streamline processes lower error rates, increase client satisfactions, etc.
Provide group coverage when colleagues are out of the office.
Participates in key projects like enhancing productivity, process enhancements etc.
Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture
Takes ownership for own career management, seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability and improved performance contribution

Graduate prefreably in Commerce/Economics
A minimum of 1.5 years of work experience in Investment banking/ hedge fund administration
Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
Fluent with English, both verbal and written communication
Ability to identify and develop strong working relationship with internal ‘client’ groups
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment,
Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, good Excel skills required
Flexibility to work in shifts based of business requirement (Primary shift is in US zone)
