What is the Payroll Analyst in Payroll group responsible for?
The Payroll, Time and Attendance Analyst is responsible for analyzing the needs of the various functional business areas within Franklin Templeton.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Payroll Analyst?
Oversee end to end payroll process for assigned countries.
Serves as a liaison and point of contact between Human Resources, and other cross functional business areas for time and attendance enhancement projects.
Responsible for routing, researching, and responding to questions for Franklin Templeton Payroll and Time and Attendance systems.
Responsible for Payroll reconciliation process for various Europe and International countries.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory & regulatory laws.
Gather information from various departments on payroll inputs and share the details with service provider in prescribed formats.
Clarify all queries related to Payroll and Time and Attendance either with employee or service providers or internal teams.
Preparing and posting all payroll journal entries for accounts.
Working with Regional Payroll Managers in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Support other payroll activity, specific to the region.
Liaise with auditors on audit requirements.
Stay up-to-date on Franklin Templeton Leave policy & Procedures laws, Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Education And Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business related field.
Requires 2-4 years financial analysis experience in a medium to large organization.
Knowledge of business desktop applications (MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts and graphs).
Requires a Bachelor’ s degree (preferably in Commerce)
3 to 4 years of experience.
Desirable to have exposure to Payroll and Time Management Application.
Desirable to have Payroll systems experience; PeopleSoft, and Kronos experience.
Demonstrates an intermediate ability to perform mathematical calculations and analysis.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Analytical Skills & Math Skills.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
Proficient in MS office suite with emphasis on Excel/ Advance Excel
Strong attention to details.
Desirable to have knowledge in handling payroll packages.
Desirable to have knowledge of payroll process and payroll reconciliation process.
Excellent analytical, reconciliation and research skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
