Beauty & Personal Care is one of the fastest growing categories on the Myntra platform. Given the growth of the category, BPC is a pivotal bet for Myntra in the years to come and hence a place full of exciting opportunities and great learning.
Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development involving both domestic and international brands across BPC. Also, once on- boarded, account manage these brands to a sustainable scale and ensure a smooth conduit of growth for new brands on Myntra.
An active interest in an understanding of the entire beauty market with in depth context of how to approach which brand/group
Be up to date across trends on Beauty & Personal care – both local as well as global to be able to move the selection strategy in that direction
Actively pursue business development in terms of lead generation, creating Myntra pitch presentations, discussing ways of operations, legal closures and overall 360 launch plans of the brands on Myntra.
Getting involved with commercial closures to work towards a P&L view of the business and the category
Category Management & scaling these brands on the platform with continuous work across selection, catalog, marketing etc
Manage & groom teams to be able to hold higher quality of brand conversations and account management
Initiate & execute end to end cross functional charters across key brand launches on Myntra
Qualifications & Experience
5 – 7 Years of Experience in the Beauty & Personal care market both across BD as well as category management
Experience in dealing with multiple markets for Beauty and Personal Care
Preferred International experience
MBA from premier B School preferred
Experience with E-commerce/Offline BPC is preferred
Super high Bias for Action & a high hunger for growth
High-level communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
Conflict resolution across cross functional teams
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
