About the project
English Bolo is a unique initiative of the Centre for Civil Society that aims to empower over students from low-income families with Spoken English Skills. The project is founded on learnings gathered from existing studies that have used mobile applications to support learners from low-income families to practice English language skills. Engagement with three key stakeholders i.e. Schools, Teachers, and Parents, and structured support to children to practice English language skills stand out as core features of this initiative. This three-year project is supported by prominent philanthropic entities as well as outreach partners which include associations of private schools, service providers, and school finance entities.
We have successfully completed the pilot phase of this project with 30,000 students, 150 schools and 500 teachers from schools in Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. We are now looking to scale the project to 60,000 students in the year 2021-22 . School Engagement Team Lead is an important role in this project directly impacting the empanelment and retention of students, two main areas of overall project outcomes.
School Engagement Team Lead will manage the ongoing execution of the Project Bolo English effectively, and strengthen the relationships with the stakeholders (school leadership, teachers, parents). She / He will plan and track processes, follow-up with multiple stakeholders, and facilitate online training sessions to ensure high engagement of students in the program.
Location: Remote work during COVID pandemic, after that Delhi for North India and Hyderabad for South India.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate with 2-3 years of relevant full-time work experience preferably in project implementation
Experience of working on EdTech and /or Low Cost Private Schools highly desirable
Experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Telugu language skills-must for Lead, South India and Hindi language skills- must for Lead, North India
Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Suite (Docs and sheets)
Comfort with handling Data and using it for effective implementation of the project

Manage a team of 2-3 field-coordinators
Manage relationships with School Association Leaders, Principals and Teacher Coordinators in respective zones
Track student progress and initiate actions to achieve the project targets
Coordinate with school to ensure regular use of Mobile Applications by students
Design and implement system to track team’s progress on set impact targets
Report program execution outputs and outcomes to school periodically
Support Monitoring & Evaluation in data collection and analysis for measuring Impact
Lead efforts to collect student and parent feedback periodically
Focus on a data-driven approach to address ongoing execution-related challenges to understand problems and address
