New Business Ventures (NBV), is the growth engine for INSWA BU. It is a fully integrated business that owns the brands as well as manages the end to end supply chain from manufacturing right through to store.
This role serves as the integrated Sales, Operations and Marketing lead for the role for a region of one or more states of India responsible for:
To plan, organize, lead sales through the respective Distributor sales team for
Achieving revenue and volume targets of planned ABP- brand/pack wise
Driving visibility for the portfolio by strategic placement across Trade, NKA & LKA outlets. Building in-store shopper marketing and execution to provide strong visibility for the brands in both, chilled and ambient spaces
Capability development and improvement in skill level of Distribution Partners’ ASMs, SEs, Salesmen and Market Developers.
Delivery of the revenue, profit, volume and share for the business across India A and India C Portfolio on the ground working:
With the Distribution team to explore, engage, appoint and track efficiency of distributors and their network
Leverage the LKA/ NKA team to engage LKAs and NKAs in respective regional markets
With the NV marketing team to put in place the marketing calendar by market and planning and executing all marketing acts related to new product launches and driving portfolio awareness
Leverage the NV SC team to ensure seamless product/SKU supply to distribution partners
Represent the Company locally to system partners
Manage the Distributor Sales Managers for India A and India C through a comprehensive system of metrics and timelines
Developing and implementing locally relevant communications, incl. local promotion / POSM Kits in conjunction with the brand and category teams. Defining PICOS and executing across the market through the sub distributor network. Ensure outlet merchandising standards through trade visits
Develop and monitor a system for the efficient handling of customer complaints
Provide inputs into developing and managing incentive programs as relevant
Managing and implementing MITs for the geography including leading any sales rally events
Implementing and negotiating recommended TOTs from Marketing Ops team
Working with supply chain team on forecasting, production and distribution planning for sustained supply operation for the portfolio
- Entrepreneurial skill set, ability to design, create and manage new businesses and prevail in not well defined new business environments
- A passion and ability for innovation. Highly effective selling and influencing/negotiation skills
- Commercial savvy and ability to understand, challenge and negotiate distributor, supplier economics and system
- A strong leader profile with ability to speak to masses, move, influence and motivate
- Strong communication skills to deliver Company messages
Fluent in English and Hindi
Post Graduate Management Degree
3-4 years’ FMCG/ Sales experience
