The CSWT team leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the Bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.
The Informatica Administrator role will support the DPS DI Groups , which has an Enterprise shared platform and a few Application dedicated platforms. This position will be responsible for administration of informatica Suite tools –providing production and operational systems support to Clients and Stakeholders. This position includes platform support, application configuration, monitoring, capacity and utilization, application security, archiving, backups, disaster recovery, end user support, training and documentation based on Customer's corporate policies, industry best practices, and business requirements.
Design platform topologies and Install informatica and its dependent software on LINUX servers as part of Design & Build and install Informatica patches/Fix packs as part of Software upgrades/fixes
Configuration of operating system level and application related environment files
Create projects, manage users/groups/privileges, setting project level variables as part of Application on-boarding
Establish connectivity between Informatica and various database servers based on Application requirements
Proactively work on request/issues reported by Application team members and complete them within defined SLAs
Provide Informatica/LINUX support during server/service outages
Co-ordinate with external teams (System Admin, DBAs) and perform maintenance activities (software patching, configuration changes, upgrades, etc) in defined maintenance windows
Migrate Informatica and LINUX assets to UAT and Prod servers by following all the deployment formalities and change management measures
Automate Informatica and LINUX administration processes to reduce the manual effort
Performance tuning of Informatica platform/servers
Create detailed process and technical documentation
Co-ordination with support partners/Vendors to resolve issues
Assist and resolve production issues as part of support
Follow best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines
Certifications If Any:
2 - 4 Yrs
Good experience in administering informatica platforms running on UNIX/LINUX operating system, using Web Console and DS Administrator clients.
Good understanding of Informatica power center architecture – Tiers, Services and installation topologies
Good knowledge on all the basic stages, properties and functionalities available in powercenter Designer Administrator clients
Experience with informatica 9.x and above Configurations
Ability to provide Informatica Platform Capacity Planning, Metrics and Performance Tuning recommendations
Good LINUX Administrator skills, basic commands and scripting experience
Experience in connecting to various database servers from Informatica servers using ODBC and native drivers
Ability to implement and manage automated monitoring solutions for Informatica Platforms to ensure SLAs are maintained
Good Project and Time Management Skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently, while guiding and assisting other support team members as needed
Great Communication Skills - Must be able to professionally communicate and interface with Teammates, Peer Technology Groups, Clients and Vendors of the Bank to provide best-in-class service delivery
Should be flexible in work timings – after-hours and on weekends if required as part of an on-call rotation schedule
Basic Knowledge of Informatica Suite tools –
Knowledge of Informatica related OS files/logs like, SystemErr, SystemOut logs and other trace files
Experience in installing Informatica on UNIX/LINUX servers
Experience in migrating Informatica assets from one server to other in backend (LINUX)
Good UNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge
Good SQL knowledge to generate reports from Informatica Metadata repository
