Business Development Manager – eCommerce B2B

Job Purpose (Summary of what the job exists to accomplish)
Key Member of the Direct Trade team (team includes Finance, CS&L, Shopper Development) led by the Head – Direct Trade.
Identifying and developing new customer opportunities and relationships. Own the full e-commerce sales cycle from initial contact to close.
Working with Customer Marketing team and IDT/Direct Trade regional managers to build a solid strategy to drive sustainable growth in this channel
Developing the playbook to quickly identify long term players, and establishing relationship with them at eCommerce Speed
Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders – Internal (Customer marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing & Media Teams) and External (Customer & Sellers servicing platforms)
Drive business KPIs on sales, shares and efficiencies in a sustainable & profitable manner.
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)
Achieving net sales ensuring commercial hygiene compliance and forecast accuracy
Coaching and Development
Building awareness and organizational capabilities within broader CP India organization
Understand & Develop Relationship
Managing end to end relationship with eCom B2B customers
Understanding customers – Strategies, Processes & KPI
Understanding the evolving environment
Creatively finding a win/win solutions by understanding customer financials and improving mutual profitability
Create and Support a Shopper-focused drive
Work closely with Customer marketing and Marketing Team in developing and implementing trader focused drives / programs to enhance interaction with our brands/ messaging in e com platform
Team work and collaboration
Interfacing effectively with functions like Customer Service, Finance, Customer Marketing, Consumer Marketing and IT on behalf of her/his team to ensure speedy resolution of issues and the facilitating smooth flow of information/data.
Account level shares for TP & TBR
Essential: Should have Sales experience with FMCG organization.
Should have 5+ years of experience in managing key accounts and trade marketing role. Cash & Carry experience is preferred.
No. of yrs of Exp reqd.: Should have 4+ years of work experience in Sales or Marketing
