We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager .
The Workforce Managemer will be responsible for the day to day management of an efficient and sustainable headcount management process across a service line, consistent service delivery and taking direction from the Head of Shared services -WFM. The role will include liaison and relationships with central IT COO functions, GBGFS COOs, and service line leadership
The service line circa 1000 people and a $120 M cost base entering a period of transition and location rationalization which requires considerable management and oversight.
This role will require the individual to be proactive and hands on, to ensure the ongoing management of an operationally “excellent” organization during a period of significant change.
Decision making areas
Resource management for a service line including –
IT Transformation programme deliverables
Hiring pipeline reporting for Transformation programme – location rationalization, transition from contingent to permanent workforce, etc.
Exit path management
HC system data quality management and reporting
GHRS – active resource management
Pioneer – Open request management
Taleo – Hiring forecasting
Input into the continual improvement of processes. Responding to adhoc HC firedrills as appropriate
Customers / Stakeholders
To build strong relationship with key stakeholders including IT COO & GBGF communities
Engage and collaborate with teams across GBGF/ service line and other global businesses and HOST on deliverables.
Leadership & Teamwork
To support Service line management in managing an accurate resource and transformation profile
Interact on a regular basis with the service line Business Management team
Take responsibility for professional and timely delivery of all deliverables.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Employing a considered approach, with practical and helpful insights and application to enhance the management of resources within the function
Support a newly created department with significant opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements in a cost saving environment for the rest of HOST.
Create and standardize WFM processes across both functions
To work with stakeholders and colleagues across multiple time zones to achieve deliverables to time and quality.
To develop solutions with the available data, and to gain stakeholder engagement for improvements for the future.
Understanding of Resourcing processes and common systems
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
Strong Excel Skills is a must
Good analysis and problem solving skills (growth area)
Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality
Hands on experience in managing headcount
Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with stakeholders of varying seniority
Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a complex, global organisation
Excellent influencer and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
Typical qualifications would include an undergraduate degree. Mathematical, Computer Science related or business related degrees are advantageous. Relevant experience is also a prerequisite and may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications.
