The Technical SPLM is responsible for the End to End design of Solutions for customer Projects employing Nokia NSW products, spanning in presales, delivery and post-delivery support, within single or multiple domains. This role is for a Nokia’s Self Organized Network (SON) Services portfolio in Application Services Business Group.
Engage closely with a customer to design & develop solutions to fulfil customer’s needs by understanding the customer’s challenges and architectures, and turning that into a customer solution
As an architect design and improve a customer and/or Nokia solution IT/Telco architecture. The design solves a problem faced by or fulfil of an opportunity identified by 1 or more customers of Nokia.
The scope of an assignment will dictate the technical and business skills demanded of an architect and may include an understanding, if not detailed knowledge, of a wide range of network and IT technologies, and products, both Nokia and 3rd party.
He/she needs to Capture, analyze, manage and influence the functional and non-functional requirements by using industry best practices and create/contribute to customer requirement summaries for solution development use.
Create and Manage Services Portfolio Catalogue and Create new Value Added Services and enhance existing services with each new Product release.
Execute Services Create process
Create all pre-sales collateral (SEET, SOW, GRTS training, K+ training, customer presentation material, references)
Ideate for new services based on customer and market needs as well as new product features/capabilities
Enhance existing services with each new Product and Service release
Coordinate with Presales, prepare Proposals, with Effort and Cost Estimates,
Participate in Customer meetings and technically represent “Solution Manager” Role for EdenNet SON solutions
Prime interface to product unit (PU) for product Create milestone approvals and Serviceability, Service approval representative for product gates
Drive “Design for Serviceability (DFS) initiatives. Consolidate, open, track and drive all serviceability requests from the Services domain
Consolidate Funnel management
Lead industrialization activities strategy within SON Domain
Identify, drive and project manage automation and blueprint creation process with SON Domain
Engineering (Electrical/Telecommunications/Computer) or Computing Science Degree qualifications.
A minimum of 15-16 years experience in Telecom with at least 7-8 years’ experience as an Architect in designing Solutions in OSS Domain.
Deep experience in Wireless telecom domain standards: 2G, 3G, LTE, etc. and knowledge in NGOSS, eTOM, and OSS/J
Excellent Knowledge of Service KPIs, KQIs.
Must have proven and excellent System/Solution Integration background
Deep understanding of the Presales Processes, Bidding Tools
Experience in strategizing and planning the portfolio is desirable
Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of medium to large business unit level Information Technology (IT) based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas).
Having Software developing experience for about 3-4 years is desirable.
Be able to provide architectural direction for multiple medium sized projects concurrently. For larger engagements, a single active project is reasonable.
Understands and applies information system or operational solution related modeling methods and tools.
Can validate/evaluate if an information systems or operational architecture meets technical requirements and specifications
Familiar with architectural, development and operational methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, Information Technology (IT) service Management, (ITSM)…)
Applies appropriate methodologies and Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge to resolve complex business issues.
Good experience in large and complex System Integration Projects involving Software customization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of analytic skills, customer orientation, structure, Systematic working attitude and result oriented approach
Work independently and ability to think and communicate in a structure/clear/simple manner
