This position is for Director QA for Session Delivery Product Portfolio (SBC, OCOM, OCSS etc..) of Oracle Communications – Engineering Group.
We are a Quality Engineering organization with increased focus on Automation, Quality, Performance, Stability and Scalability of all CGBU product releases.
The Quality Engineering Organization will be responsible for Functional, Integration testing, end-to-end solution (suite of products), Automation, performance design, performance testing, Cloud readiness for all CGBU products.
This team will work with Product Strategy, Product Management, Development, Services, Support and our customers to understand the requirements, deployment environments, and use case scenarios to enable them to design, deploy, and test.

As a director of the QA division, you will provide leadership to a group of highly competent managers and technical engineers that drive the product quality for all Session Delivery Products of CGBU.

Responsible for Team Deliverables in Functional Specifications, Test Documents, and Quality from the team. Monitor and measure team progress against business plan and recommend changes as needed.

Define Automation test strategy for Session Delivery products of CGBU
Participate in defect and issue resolution process
Coordinate testing project management by contributing task definitions and estimates for testing project plans and preparing progress reports for Quality Assurance management team
Lead in the definition and implementation of Automation tools and standards
Lead and contribute to the selection, validation and implementation of Quality Assurance tools
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

Possess B.S. or M.S. in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Minimum of 15 years of software engineering, quality assurance, quality control or related experience preferably in VoIP or Embedded or IP Security or Datacom Product domains, with 8-10 years of experience in Managing or Leading the Teams and 3-5 experience in managing the managers/team leads
Experienced with hiring, interviewing skills by understanding the Organization processes.
Passion for Product Architecture and deployment understanding is must
Strong Knowledge of TCP/UDP/IP and networking concepts is a must.
Strong experience in wireless and wireless communication systems including Voice and IMS systems in telecommunication networks
Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, IPSec IETF, 3GPP Spec implementations.

Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
