You are a C# developer who are well versed in back end and front-end technologies and savvy about building highly efficient large scale applications. Must be well versed with cloud computing, micro-services architecture, and be able to build maintainable well tested code using design patterns good designing principles. You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence
About the team : athenaNet Device Manager (ADM) interfaces between athenaNet , and medical/non-medical devices for 230K users across 9K clients that providers integrate into their athenaNet workflow. ADM provides free, seamless integration for wide variet y devices critical to client success. As a locally installed Windows tray application, ADM serves as a communication conduit between athenaNet , the browser, and a connected device. It also offers athena a unique window into each end user’s local environment.
ADM's vision is to have a device strategy that reinforces athena’s lead in interoperability and resonates with the market, proactively expanding and sunsetting integrations per customer need and market demand.
Have a record of both hands-on engineering and design excellence
Produce technical design specifications and guidance to the appropriate detail, acting as an advisor to a zone and/or multiple charters
Own technical approach to solving problems, tech backlog for your zone
You will have an expansive outlook sharing your technical insights with your broader engineering and product organizations
Exhibits mastery of a few functional zones and multiple pieces of the application
Assess, advocate and approve external technologies and technology partners for their suitability.
Educate broader company on technology architecture and how the platform powers the business
Identify creative and innovative solutions that could be patented and adopted by the broader market
Provide design and architectural guidance and governance in delivering software components and services
Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goal s
13+ years of experience in an engineering role
Expert software engineering skills and computer science experience
Hands on experience on multiple amazon web services like lambda, SNS, S3
Experienced in designing large scale HADR Cloud-based systems architectures.
Familiar with release engineering tooling such as Git, BitBucket , Jenkins, Artifactory, JIRA
Exposure to object-oriented programing, Web Services, relational database technologies, Entity Framework, jQuery, RESTful API, WebUI (HTML 5) and Modern JS frameworks
Experience in UI development using WPF and WinForms, Angular.Js
Experienced in developing multi-threaded and distributed applications. Solid understanding of threading, garbage collection, performance optimization and memory management.
Experience working with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web services and RESTful architectures, Micro-Services Architecture
