First Pacific Corporation is seeking an Patient Services Representative to join our team!
As the Patient Services Representative you will be responsible for responsible for the credit/collection management of client accounts including auditing delinquent accounts, handling all patient calls and processing/filing pertinent correspondence. You will also enter credit activity on accounts, process changes in patient payment arrangements and updates patient information.
What your impact will be:
Follow up on delinquent accounts.
Handle incoming patient, client and insurance inquiries regarding patient account status.
Process correspondence received from clients and/or patients.
Process and approve requests from clients on patient accounts.
Handle and authorize credit card and ACH payments on patient accounts.
Accountable for policy and procedural decisions regarding patient accounts.
Provides training and retraining to clients regarding policies and procedures.
Ability to work positively and cooperatively with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
Refers special requests to the VP of Client Solutions, PA’s and RDBD’s as necessary.
Attends and participates in Quality Circle meetings and records minutes when assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with an emphasis on business courses and consumer relations and 1-2 years customer service experience.
Soft credit/collections experience preferred.
Knowledge of office procedures
Excellent numeric-recall skills
Type minimum of 35 wpm
Excellent telephone etiquette and techniques
Able to act independently and assume full responsibility for accuracy and completeness of work
Bilingual skills preferred based on client/territory assignment
Able to work in a fast pace, team environment with flexibility and patience
Able to work well with different personalities
