Can play a role in identifying important requirements that might not have been actively represented by stakeholders.
Is required to work with the business sponsor on a strategic level and define how the proposed product or feature aligns with the organization's portfolio and strategy.
They must then work with the business and project team to break this vision down into requirements that support effective and accurate estimation.
In an agile project this is done for each iterative release, as opposed to the single requirements phase that exists in plan‐driven approaches.
It is incumbent on the analyst to constantly review requirements with the business stakeholders and ensure that any shifts in business needs are accurately reflected in future releases of the product.

Get Real Using Examples (BDD).
Understand what is Doable (Relative Estimation, Usage Consideration, Planning Workshop, Real Options).
Stimulate Collaboration and Continuous Improvement (Collaborative games, Retrospectives).
