Job SummaryYoung, dynamic editors / content writers needed for a publishing house in Navi Mumbai. Candidates need to have good English language skills, a sincere attitude towards work and a commitment to make submissions on time. At least 1-2 years experience in a similar job in a newspaper, magazine or website is preferred. Getting pages into production as per editor's requirements and associating with designers to ensure an error-free and smooth production process will be an added skill for this position.Responsibilities and Duties
The candidate will be reporting to the editor
Planning the issues in advance in consultation with the editor
Interviewing industry leaders
Rewriting articles and writing fresh articles as well
Writing feature articles which are interview-based
Sourcing articles from guest writers, generating story leads from newspaper articles on the subject, sourcing information from organisations
Getting pages into production as per editor's requirements
Associating with designers and ensuring an error-free & smooth production process
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Should be a minimum graduate in BMM (Journalism) / B.A. English Literature / Journalism / Mass Communication
Person should have worked in an English publication in a similar capacity or a grade lower
Should have minimum 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience
Added preference for candidates having worked in a B-2-B publication, preferably Construction /Infrastructure/ Engineering Industry.
