Sr Manager, QA
FLSA (US Only):
Job Purpose (Job Summary): The QA Architect is responsible for developing processes and tools to enable the QA Center of excellence and supports the Engineering Goal of establishing a centralized QA Testing effort at Invesco
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Define architecture, design and implementation of the QA Automation and Performance framework
Help create and maintain an automated and manual testing infrastructure, consistent with established standards, methodologies and best practices.
Recommend and support the development of testing environments, appropriate to the needs required for testing.
Recommend strategies and methods for creating and managing test data, including the obfuscation of data, when required.
Drive the architecture and implementation of an automated testing process to support CI/CD, TDD and BDD environments.
Lead a team of QA Automation Analysts to ensure quality and performance into the development process.
Provide management and governance around a comprehensive end to end test approach strategy.
Establish metrics to measure the quality of testing practices
Work Experience / Knowledge:
8+ years directly related work experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing within the Investment Management and/or the Mutual Fund Industry. Knowledge of Automation frameworks, TDD and BDD preferred.
Experience with Java scripting and Selenium frameworks
8+ years years managing a software testing team
Experience developing architectures, and automation strategies
Experience leading & mentoring a team through effective delegation, training & conflict management
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team with offshore resources
Software development skills desired
Python scripting skills desired
Project Management skills desired

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.
Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone.
