Projects Execution; Client Servicing
Takes overall responsibility of execution of project delivery including quality and timeliness of delivery of projects; provides technical guidance to the team to ensure that the quality of deliverables meets industry standards so that CTPL is seen to be best in class
Manage the teams including monitoring competency levels and coaching them where necessary
Hold regular meeting of team on progress of projects & make changes where necessary to meet client and company goals
Daily & weekly monitor the progress of projects. Intervene where necessary.
Monitor staff productivity & take corrective action.
Interact proactively with clients in case of technical difficulties in execution of projects and anticipate and address problems well in advance
Implement company policies and procedures. Proposes changes and improvements, including addition & deletion as necessary
Meet or exceed the set goals
To manage costs within the cost estimates
To monitor the team members work such that they meet the set utilisation targets
Visit clients along-with marketing team or independently when necessary. When required assist with the closing of sales, and payment follow up.
Be aware of competition, market developments and the opportunities these may open to CTPL.
Provide inputs to the DEKRA Insight Newsletter and marketing material.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & CLIENT SERVICE
Take ownership of projects to ensure that projects are executed/delivered consistent with company’s quality standards, on time and as per client’s expectations.
Personally manage & lead projects or parts of a project based on the skills required or the client’s expectations.
Make sure CTPL maintains technical leadership and is perceived as such by clients & the market.
Deliver training programmes in both Public Programmes as well as in In-House Programmes in client Companies. Develop training material and review existing training material and suggest improvement & changes.
Make sure CTPL remains competitive by encouraging continuous process improvements.
STAFF PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
As leader of the technical team, create & maintain a vibrant atmosphere within CTPL and a culture that inculcates innovation, inspires team spirit, confidence, creativity and a can-do attitude and commitment to client satisfaction.
Be aware of the dynamics within the team and proactively address areas of dissatisfaction
Annually conduct a Performance Review with each direct report. Jointly prepare a Personal Development plan with each person. Formally review the progress of the Development Plan on a Quarterly basis
Train, coach motivate and manage each immediate subordinate based on individual’s needs. Help each person meet or exceed his/her performance goals
