As TapClicks continues to grow, our People Operations team is the catalyst for growth and change within the business. The Director of People Operations will focus on talent management, team effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development training, coaching leaders to be better managers and the overall employee and candidate experience. This is a key role, shaping and influencing business strategy as it applies to human capital, retention and development as well as change management. The Director of People Operations will handle responsibilities including employee relations, training and development, performance and talent management, recruitment workflow, partnering with functional leaders on People Operations business needs and special projects.
The Director of People Operations will be the champion for employees and the candidate experience at our Hyderabad site. This person will be at the forefront of change management and lead the further evolution of our strong culture of customer focus, product quality, creation of community values, and leadership excellence. This role will be the senior People Ops site leader responsible for all facets of acquiring, growing and retaining our most valuable corporate assets. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is both strategic and hands-on, someone who can engage just as effectively in large teams and complex programs as they do in coaching individual growth or managing detailed information. This person should be both inspirational as well as operationally savvy. There is also a significant opportunity for the right candidate to grow a shared services team at this location to support the corporate People organization headquartered in the U.S.
Lead the efforts that drive an exceptional candidate and employee experience through clear processes, superior service, and the curation of an exceptional culture that leads to high performance.
Partner with company leadership to pilot employee engagement initiatives and other corporate People programs that contribute to overall People Operations strategy. Manage the talent planning, goal setting, performance management, and compensation review processes. Proactively take ownership of People function strategy and operations that align with our business plan. Use understanding of business growth drivers to address short/longer term talent and talent management needs.
Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed relationship for all core People functions and services while being a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to our growing team of more than 80 at our Hyderabad location.
Lead, develop, and grow a small team including People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition specialists.
Coach local managers for higher performance and people development. Lead organizational design and planning efforts to maximize talent allocation and performance across the business.
Drive leadership development including assessment and development of leadership bench strength.
Drive the Hyderabad talent agenda and provide clear leadership on Hyderabad talent management – including assessing, developing, coaching and mentoring critical local talent.
Be the voice of the Hyderabad candidate and employee experience, including leading new hire orientations and various all hands meetings, conducting exit interviews, and developing methods that drive employee engagement and retention by continuously seeking feedback, reviewing talent practices and delivering on strategies to address areas of opportunity.
Work with teams to identify and implement solutions to address key gaps in leadership, functional and technical capabilities, including succession planning that will ensure viability of future generations of site leadership
10+ years of experience in People/Human Resources role
Direct experience in recruiting is a must
Advanced degree is preferred
Must have been in the capacity of a Head of People/Humans Resources function in a technology company, preferably in SaaS organization
Familiarity working with in US-based companies highly desirable
Strong ability to use your technical competence, curiosity and interpersonal skills to collaborate towards a solution, enlist people to help you, and build lasting trust
Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing higj performing team members
Experience working and navigate globally- experience bridging India and US teams a plus
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; well - developed presentation skills
