The Incumbent manages the operation and performance of three retail sale operations to include two grocery stores and a coffee shop. The store manager is responsible for the financial performance of each center and the quality of the service. This leader is responsible for the smooth operation of the facilities, managing personnel, and monitors the requisition, acquisition, storage, and distribution of supplies and the maintenance of records.
Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Manages two grocery stores and a coffee shop.
Responsible for the operation and performance of the retail centers to include team performance, product presentation, financial management, and inventory management.
Monitors the requisition, storage, and distribution of food and supplies, and the maintenance of supply records.
Ensures the safe operation of operation retail centers to include meeting health and safety requirements.
Performs management functions for all supply and accountable property, applying stock control policies and procedures to receive, inspect, store and safeguard inventories, supplies and equipment.
Supervises employees in retail sales and resale operations.
Manages, prepares and delivers staff’s performance evaluations/appraisals, as well as, performance deficiencies and recommendations.
Handles all cash and credit transactions.
Manages and directs materiel management operations to include administration, direction, and management of retail or wholesale supply activities.
Utilizes Point of Sale (POS) software.
Inputs data into computer data base systems.
Manages assigned information systems.
Performs duties associated with the consolidation, repackaging, labeling and transporting of material.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School education or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in supply or logistic related work.
Must have the ability to input routine retail sales entries using a computer system.
Must have three (3) years’ experience utilizing computers for retail related work.
Must possess good communication skills for a service team environment.
Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
