Job Description
Your tasks:
The Marketing Manager will have responsibility for developing strategic marketing plans for T&M business in APAC, as well as planning and executing demand generation marketing activities for the India market across all sectors.
A technical and/or strong industry exposure coupled with a marketing background is required for success in the role. Crafting a mixture of awareness activities and content led, lead generation campaigns.
Conduct market research and understand competitor marketing to identify new opportunities and determine appropriate marketing campaigns and initiatives.
An appreciation of both outbound and inbound marketing principles; leverages segmentation to generate high-value marketing tactics.
Create and maintain positive relationships with media agencies, industry magazines and various other 3rd party suppliers
Generate content for online and print communications
Manage and coordinate the layout, design, content and production of marketing materials across all marketing channels including both traditional and digital marketing
Developing the annual marketing plan for the organization; for strategic market planning; market research programme; field force activities, and control of the marketing budget
Develop Rohde & Schwarz’s position as a key supplier in India
Owner of the RS India marketing plan and budget
Size the market potential, our position, the competition and growth potential.
Identify target area and customer groups for specific campaigns
Constant alignment and communication with local management, regional marketing and headquarter market segments.
Execute demand generation campaigns in India
Execute local relevant marketing programs, prioritizing activities and investments
Identifies content requirements and work with various in-country stakeholders to generate the content
Technical inbound marketing to be the eyes and ears from the customer applications, technology trends and challenges
Report on marketing activities and strategy group activities to senior management colleagues and APAC Hub.
Organize and direct marketing and strategy meetings on a regular basis whereby the strategy and promotion programme are reviewed

Your qualifications:
Good Communication Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics& Comm / Computer Engineering/ MSc Physics or related fields
At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the field of technology
Degree in MBA Marketing is preferred
Stellar organizational and communication skills with proven experience in preparing and presenting information to leaders.
High sense of urgency, responsibility and drive for excellence.
High competency & skill in MS tools ( Power point , Excel , MS word ..etc)
A sense of humor and ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Good interpersonal skills
Well versed in Customer Engagements
Knowledge and Experience on different Marcom tools
