As a Java Developer, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of the SAP Ariba products. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers and QA engineers and work on high impact scalable internet level problems and complex business problems. You will work with SAP Ariba Cloud technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and SAP HANA. To succeed in this position you must be able to:

The Role
Build application micro services and APIs on J2EE stack and Spring Boot using Java
Implement application business logic per use cases provided
Automate API and business logic unit tests to ensure the best code quality
Work closely with application UI team for API consumption and integration
Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
Researches, tests, builds, and corelate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Sharing knowledge and expertise within the team
Role Requirements
Bachelor's in computer science or engineering, Master’s preferred
2+ years of Java development experience and experience with Spring framework, Perforce, GitHub
1+ years of REST API design and implementation experience
Excellent SQL and data modeling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Self-motivated, maveric, detail oriented, and a great team-player
Experience with API performance optimization is a plus
Experience with Mobile application is a plus but not required
Experience with SAP products and technologies such as ECC, S/4 HANA, and PI a plus but not required
