About The Opportunity
Planning and Procurement of imported and local BOP parts and to feed in house and Customer line without any stoppages.
Key Responsibilities

Scheduling through ERP Follow up for shipment release from supplier end to ship on board

Follow up & monitoring with Freight Services for shipment.

Daily Review of Coverage Report for Imp Items, ensure availability of imported material

Follow up & Coordination with Logistics for Material Arrival in Plants.

Monitoring & Controlling of Imported Item Inventory as per norms.

Preparation of GIT on daily basis in ERP.

Preparation of DSA for Imp / Local Supplier

Projects on Packing Improvements & Cost Savings.

To Ensure cycle counting and gap analysis

Controlling of Negatives

Parameters updation and review on regular basis

Ensure no line stoppage and no line disturbance.

MIS reports

Sales order Preparation for all customers and inter Plants

Follow up with Service Provider for local transports

Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical or Engineering (preferably a graduate in a discipline related to logistics, materials and/or manufacturing flows); MBA – Added advance

Experience: 07 - 10 years’ experience

Prior material and or production / planning experience would be an advantage, as would be EDI concept and knowledge; familiarity with finance concepts required

Experience with automotive sector is required

Good interpersonal skill and team player.

Must possess good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Must have good organisational skills and be a self-starter.

Follow up with Service Provider for local transports
