Our Marketing team, under our CMO, is furthering & accelerating the Greytip Public Relations & Corporate Communications for our next wave of hyper growth.
The Senior Manager of PR & CC, is a key member of our marketing team, who is responsible for the building of strong relationships with key media outlets, bloggers, analysts, and industry & community associates for the purpose of supporting the business’s product integrity.
The Senior PR & CC Manager will possess comprehensive knowledge of the product’s (greytHR) audiences and key issues, while guiding media engagement strategies and prioritization of outlets.
Directly manage outbound engagements and relations, monitor PR activity, and makes reports on results, which he delivers to senior PR management.
We are therefore looking at an individual who is action oriented, has an ability to think strategically with a passion for tactical and detailed content development & execution.
What you will be doing ?
Responsible for understanding the product’s objectives and establishing a public relations program that promotes them. Develop a company PR Scorecard and Framework which manages, monitors and optimises the public relations plans and ensures that they stay aligned to the brand’s and product’s overall objectives.
In addition, play a leading role in creating the brand/product’s messaging on thought leadership platforms, which will, in time, position the business as a thought leader in the market.
Ensuring that all the PR Messaging are in support of the Sales & Marketing strategies and PR plans get formulated guided by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Lead media outreach initiatives in pitching, handling inbound media queries, and managing relationships between Marketing and local, national, and international media.
Be responsible for developing storylines, and written materials and messages such as press releases, media advisories, pitches, presentations etc that are tied to the Brand and the PR plan framework.
Also responsible for the deployment of internal communications content that increases the employees’ understanding the public relations role, activities, and media coverage functions.
Develop media relation strategies that cover the Brand’s crucial publications, blogs, web sites, social influencers, industry associates and communities, which inspires even greater awareness of the Brand and its reach.
Formulate, maintain, and enhances PR analytics tools, and reporting process methods. Constantly analyse and redefine media databases as & when necessary for the purpose of optimizing the Brand’s audience reach besides regular media auditing with the company’s PR Score Card.
What you will need to succeed:
Typically require a minimum of 6-10 years of related experience have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Mass Media, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable.
A minimum experience of 8 years in a progressive public relations position in a fast moving and dynamic business environment, preferably in a SaaS organization. Or currently working in one of India’s Top PR agencies managing PR for a SaaS Brand / Organization.
Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Have an extraordinary ability to communicate brand, product and business messages in the clearest and most concise manner, bringing about a positive outlook on the business especially to external partners, stakeholders, and consumers.
Proven and successful experience in planning and managing multiple PR projects proactively or under tight deadlines. Good Media Relationship and Networking in traditional PR channels like Print, TV and Web News networks besides experience working with newer & modern PR channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Outstandingly demonstrate an ability to convey complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a simple and clear manner that they can relate to. Possessing an innate ability to tailor impactful messages in accordance to audiences.
Ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal/external) across all levels exhibiting strong leadership and influencing skills.
Display comfort working in cross functional settings having an ability to think outside of the box while finding creative and unorthodox PR solutions that will give the Greytip brand a distinctive edge over competition.
Expert presentation, facilitation and training skills. Flexible, with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong program management skills: plan, communicate, execute and follow through.
Will be expected to make regular pitches & presentations to various audiences and must, therefore, be proficient in Ms Word, PowerPoint, and Ms Excel. This is to ensure the creation of creative content for presentations; content that is not only verbally engaging but also visually captivating.
Good Creativity and Innovation skills. Capable of developing relevant but creatively compelling messages that address the consumers’ interests.Ability to work with researchers in the development of creative and innovative PR strategies and tactics that ensures the business and product a competitive edge.
Be Technology & Web Savvy - displaying excellent computer skills and proficiency in the use of applications and software’s that are commonly used in business settings
