About the role
The job holder will lead entire ground operations on North India City Logistics. Incumbent will have key stakeholders in form of support functions like - Control Tower, CX, Design, Fleet & Planning which will be responsible for the below activities: Monitor Last Mile and First Mile Operations and identify improvement opportunities To oversee capacity Planning, coordinating with Planning team and ground Operations
What you'll do
Planning, forecasting and operation control through process monitoring Work closely with Operations (FM & LM), MH, LH, Central Ops to ensure smooth LM and FM delivery and pickup operations on a day to day basis. Track and drive for continuous improvement across all defined Goals/KPI/metrics. Periodic and on time publication of performance data visibility Deep dive into key areas to identify areas of improvement Gather data and analyze data to arrive at actionable insights Providing strategic direction through structural design solves & new process implementations Overseeing Fleet requirement & management for the zone Build a culture of ownership and empowerment within Team Develop, mentor and motivate the team for better efficiency and best results Competencies: People manager, he should be able to lead a senior team of 5+ members. Comprehensive and possessing analytical Skills Exposure to operations planning Tech savvy, Problem solving, data-driven decision-making through the stakeholders Team Building and Employee Engagement Capability Adaptability towards change management Stakeholder Management Sound presentation and communication skills Innovative thinking Execution of key initiatives.
What you'll need;
Qualification: MBA with ~8-12+ years of experience Operational Knowledge of Logistics/Warehouse/Retail/Manufacturing/FMCG/FMCD industry Exposure to Business Processes, Lean/6 Sigma etc., 5S will be of added advantage in executing this role E-Commerce exposure will be an added plus Good knowledge of Data Analysis tools
