The Platform Experts & UAT (User Acceptance Testing) team is responsible for ensuring our products meet the needs of our diverse client base and are free from defects that might negatively impact the user experience. Team members use their expertise to champion improvements to the product and serve as client advocates in the product development process.
As an expert in our products, data and client workflows, the Platform Experts & UAT team plays a critical role in bridging the gap between technology, product and client-facing teams across the organization. We provide insight, knowledge and expertise in working across teams and organizations to improve the quality, usability and relevance of our products and ensure a premium user experience.

You will own and manage UAT responsibility spanning across multiple products and platforms – S&P Global Platform, Capital IQ Platform, Excel Add-ins, MarketPlace, XpressFeed, etc.
You will communicate & collaborate with stakeholders across the globe from the product management and technology leadership.
You will collaborate with other UAT leadership across the globe to build and continue to improve on the UAT processes, and best practices.
You will oversee all aspects of testing that your team owns for assigned scrum teams and product areas, including creation and maintenance of test plans and coordinating testing with relevant stakeholders.
You will be responsible for evaluating performance for your team, as well as continually improving the team’s performance, while continuing to meaningfully develop the performance metrics themselves.
You will be closely involved in site-level and India-level initiatives taken up by Client Ops., Commercial team leadership, and will encourage your team to participate where required.
You will coach your team to serve as strong client advocates on scrum teams in providing input on work in progress and testing to ensure that enhancements meet the needs and business requirements of our end users.
You will facilitate and promote awareness of product enhancements with client-facing teams and solicit feedback to incorporate into the product development process.
You will facilitate the use of technology and programming tools, as well as collaborate with QA leadership to automate testing and other processes to improve operational efficiency and expand testing capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong ability to coach, mentor and motivate people managers as well as individual contributors in delivering the Product UAT team’s responsibilities.
Ability to collaborate with other people and process managers to ensure a strong connect from dotted-line employees from other teams heavily participating in UAT.
Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders from the Product Management and Technology leadership groups.
Good foresight in planning ahead for people resourcing, as well as ability to sense the upcoming needs and proactively build the product exposures and skills of the team, based on the team members’ strengths and interests.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to be clear and concise while expressing thoughts.
Ability to listen, question and understand, and to push back with respect when required.

Experience managing teams, as well as supporting clients with client-facing products is a strong advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree or M.C.A. with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR M.B.A. Finance or CFA charterholder with limited relevant work experience
4+ years of people management exposure

M.B.A. Finance or CFA charterholder with 12+ years of relevant work experience
6+ years of people management exposure
Significant exposure managing people managers is an added advantage.
