Your field of responsibility
The role will focus on providing support to for local IT applications and systems (Front to Back applications) support, maintaining the production environment and working regionally and globally to maintain, coordinate and implement change with strong emphasis on adhering to global policies. Good understanding of Front to Back systems and integration is highly required as well as local infrastructure and IT systems, hence heavy exposure and understanding of technical areas, covering server, database, storage, network, end user and collaboration technology will also be required.
An important function will be to support regulatory activities in Mumbai facing off to RBI, SEBI, external regulators, and auditors (Internal and External) on IT matters including inspections, industry briefings, internal and external audit activities, working closely with Risk and Control groups to collate relevant data to present for inspection purposes. Written and Verbal to converse with business partners and external bodies.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
7 - 10 plus years’ experience in supporting, managing and coordinating IT within Financial Services organization
Strong exposure to regulatory activities in region and good understanding of IT governance as dictated by regulatory best-practices
Good understanding of local regulatory requirements, rules, audits and controls
Sound knowledge of IT systems and onshore applications outstanding to the local branch Especially front to back applications, inter dependencies and architecture components
Deep technical proficiencies and exposure to IT infrastructure development, support and management
Strong analytical skills, meticulous and organized
Also should have knowledge about RBI applications and BSE/NSE applications
Hands on experience on SNOW
Global Markets trading Solutions Trading or Investment banking experience will be beneficial, along with working within a wider IT organization
Service and vendor management experience is a plus
Effective communicator, diplomatic and discrete handling of issues between different parties
Self-starter, Pro-Active & Great Teammate
Excellent English communication skill to support collaboration with regional and global peers is also highly required
