Job Description
Manage the recruitment and selection process. Identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for technology positions, collaborating with VP Delivery.
Work with VP Delivery to develop HR and Recruitment plans and execute the HR and Recruitment plans efficiently.
Lead, manage and improve HR operations including payroll, benefits plan
Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Report to Vice President Delivery and provide decision support through HR metrics
Roles and Responsibilities
Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
Coordinate with internal leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
Compose job offer letters
Onboard new hires
Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work
Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
Handling of administration and record-keeping for recruitment and HR operations
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter; experience in the international recruitment market (South Africa, US, UK) is must
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting, Boolean search)
Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, zoom / Google meet and structured)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of HR practices and labour legislation
MBA in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
