Job Description
You will work very closely with our product development teams to model new functionality, design performance tests, and analyze performance results
With other performance engineers you will work to create test scripts, run performance tests, analyze performance results, and provide a summary of performance issues along with recommendations for product performance improvement
Using your knowledge of web-based, client and server applications, databases, operating systems, and computer hardware you will focus on performance tuning of our product
Qualifications
A Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Computer Science or related field
3-6 years of experience in performance engineering, including workload modeling, development and execution of performance testing, analysis & tuning
Experience in performance engineering for multi-tier web-based applications
Thorough Experience on Performance testing tools like Load Runner, JMeter and monitoring and profiling tools like VisualVM, JProfiler, Datadog and Dynatrace.
Experience of configuration concepts and continuous integration tools preferably Jenkins
Must have programming experience, preferably in Java
With minimal supervision, the candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be well organized
Exhibit logical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills along with the ability to implement the performance testing process
