Roles and Responsibilities: Organize, process and manage all finance relate activities like processing all employee salaries and vendor payments, tax calculation, reconcile expense reports, petty cash, employee reimbursement, purchase requisitions submissions and contract submissions. Maintain the list of purchases and procurement(including but not limited to office and pantry supplies, hardware, software)evaluate and choose best vendors for various materials and services. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance and other staff and handle all duties related to facilities management including travel, VISA and accommodation arrangements. Maintain & organize all documents related to finance, legal, HR, Intellectual property etc. Organize all meetings, vendor/customer reviews and special events (department all-hands or offsite) on behalf of your manager. Managing phone calls, routine emails and correspondence with vendors and clients within India and Internationally. Should be able to answer, screen and document incoming calls and redirect requests to the concerned team/individual.
Skills Required: Proficient with Tally/Quick Books(brownie points for quick books knowledge), excellent analytical skills, specifically related to bank/financial statements, budgets and projects. Process oriented: Demonstrable commitment to implementing and following processes, documentation etc. Working knowledge of corporate law, finance and taxes, be able to create and understand such documents. Fairly computer savvy, proficient at using the Internet, web browsers, word processors, spreadsheets and demonstrable technical aptitude, quickly learns and adopt new technologies. Intelligent with good logical reasoning and great attention to details. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative and exercise good judgment, discretion and confidentiality in all tasks. Command over one or more languages amongst Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam preferred. Prior experience working with any successful entrepreneur(s) preferred.
