Job Title: Business Analyst
This role is for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis & design of critical technology & process transformation programmes/projects for IB Finance & Product Control stakeholders.
The individual is responsible for supporting BI Finance initiatives driven by SIP, Commercial growth and other Regulatory requirements. These initiatives include the design & build of new technology solutions, business process re-engineering as well as continuous improvement efforts.
What will you be doing?
Produce requirements/design proposals to Design Authority, setting the quality threshold for the team.
Working across multiple smaller projects managing small analysis teams on each (up to a total of 10 BA's across projects)
Act as a reviewer and quality gate for analysis output for one or more components of a Programme.
Challenge IT to ensure designs are addressing the user requirements and the root cause.
Participation in the process from Design Authority approval to functional design completion ensuring the functionality/benefits envisaged are delivered.
Recognise changes within sphere of control which are liable to impact other systems / work streams and communicate effectively
Set the team work ethic, dynamic, attitude through effective management, setting an example and acting as a benchmark
Oversee BA's during testing and own the resolution of defects pertaining to requirements/ Design
Articulate and present commercial effectiveness of proposed functional designs within a Programme or Department
What we’re looking for:
Degree from top tier university
Experience of the Software development lifecycle, the roles and responsibilities on large projects and the motivations of the actors involved.
Experience of working in multiple large scale change programmes.
Extensive experience of working with a range of project Methodologies and proven track record of executing within the organisations project preferred methodology.
Proficiency in the usage of the underpinning frameworks and tools for business analysis documentation e.g. UML
Skills that will help you in the role:
CA / CFA / MBA for top tier institute
Formal project management / business analysis training / qualifications
Proven experience of running a global project utilising Agile methodology
Practical experience of Business Process Modelling using Enterprise Architect (or equivalent tool).
