Job Description

For Senior Content Writer

About the Role:
We are looking for Senior level Content writing candidates who can:

Create content/compelling copy for Marketing Communications (Email marketing, Supporting collaterals like PPTs, Others)

Write for multiple online channels to support digital marketing initiatives

Enable and plan better Marketing outreach

Write well-researched original blogs per month aligned to main content plan

Write original other-form-assets aligned to main content plan

Support other content development initiatives with guest writing/ghost writing initiatives

Support overall content marketing initiatives

Support Content Operations: Uploading content, creating supporting graphics, maintaining content management systems (Wordpress,HubSpot)

There are no “Perfect” Writers!

But, we’d like someone who is or has:
6-9 years of content experience

Performed similar roles,

Candidates whose core responsibility is developing and publishing content assets of various forms

Ability to be creative and align creative writing to B2B/tech writing

Knowledge or ability to write for various social and content marketing platforms

Ability to repurpose and curate content

How would a Senior Content Writer fit into our Organization?

DemandMatrix seeks an experienced and dynamic Senior Content Writer to join the Content team in our Pune office. This profile will be required to collaborate with fellow colleagues across the visual design, digital marketing, marketing, data science, and other teams to create and execute high impact content development and content marketing projects.

We’d prefer candidates with:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism or related fields; master’s degree (MA/ /MBA) preferred. Masters level or Bachelors level qualification in IT with relevant writing experience will be considered.

6+ years of relevant work experience in a multi-national, professional services environment with demonstrated experience in the scope of this role;

Proven record in creating and executing writing plans and strategies and tactics that achieve results, including channel-specific collaterals

Strong work experience creating channel-appropriate marketing content (visual graphics, video and curated) with the ability to deploy it across various external channels, i.e., website, social media channels, etc.;

Understanding and experience of all key digital/online marketing channels;

Dexterity with social media management and analytics platforms;

Strong writing, editing and verbal communications skills;

Experience working with a global team and adapting global strategies to context;

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to write for multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization skills and demonstrating good judgment;

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable;

Experience writing in US and UK English style preferred

For Junior to Mid-level Content Writer:
About the Role:
We are looking for Junior to Mid-level Content writing candidates who can:

Create content/compelling copy to suit core content strategy needs

Write for multiple online channels

Enable and plan content marketing initiatives

Ghostwrite original content in the form of blogs, ebooks, others

Support Content Operations: Uploading content, creating supporting graphics, maintaining content management systems (Wordpress, HubSpot)

If you have MOST of the following attributes, you should definitely apply:

2-5 years of content writing/ content marketing experience

Candidates belonging to similar segments (B2B/Technical)

Product-based writing experience is a plus

Knowledge/ability to write for various social and content marketing platforms

Ability to repurpose and curate content
