Job Summary
To be a leader responsible for designing and implementing a marketing and communications plan in order to:

  • Attract new students across the school’s portfolio of programmes and align with the school enrolment targets
  • Promote the profile of the school as a whole to external audiences shaping the school brand in the Mumbai and Indian community
  • To Lead all marketing activities for the school

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To lead the marketing team to develop short and long-term marketing campaigns inside and outside school;
  • To present an annual marketing analysis to senior staff and Board members providing regular updates as required;
  • To work with key personnel to achieve effective media coverage, including press releases, photo opportunities etc;
  • To Lead with Admissions team and to ensure effective communication with all potential families and external organisations;
  • To oversee the creation, production and effective dissemination of all publicity materials and mediums eg social media, websites, digital marketing, signs, stands, banners, videos, school website, school brochures/ handbooks etc;
  • To oversee and be responsible for up to date refreshment of the school website and its information and brand;
  • To liaise with the school’s advertising agency, designers and printers (in-house and external);
  • Representing and promoting the school at national and international events;
  • To maintain and curate the stock of school photos and videos;
  • To ensure the selection and ordering of promotional merchandise for exhibitions and to use as corporate gifts;
  • To establish an effective Alumni association and associated activities to promote the school;
  • To work collaboratively with the Events team and other departments to help create and ensure effective communication and publicity about all school events, exhibitions and activities;
  • To establish and foster relationships with Mumbai businesses and corporations;
  • To keep abreast of initiatives which are being developed by competitor schools, proposing our responses to the changing PR/marketing landscape;
  • To establish and foster relationships with the school parents and PTA organisation to support school initiatives;
  • To work on committees and task groups as appointed, that further the School;
  • To assist with recruitment activities as required;
  • To liaise with academic staff as necessary;
  • To educate, advise and work collaboratively with senior staff, Head of School, Director and Board members as required;

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Energy and creativity;
  • A thorough knowledge of contemporary marketing methods and strategies including an ability to utilize modern technologies to market effectively;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹60,000.00 to ₹80,000.00 /month
