WHAT YOU'LL DO
Over the last three years, Finance and IT have partnered to design and implement an enterprise reporting platform led by the Business Intelligence & Reporting (BIR) function. The team has delivered an on-premises enterprise data warehouse, master data management tool and reporting suite—serving as a single source of reporting truth for financial and operational reporting.
We are in the early stages of a journey to build a centralized Business Intelligence & Analytics Center of Excellence that will simplify and automate our information delivery through a shared digital platform; this will greatly enhance how our leaders engage in information required to manage the business. To date, the team has launched and operationalize several global dashboards. The next wave of digital reporting is underway which will help to unlock further value for BCG functions and leadership with best in class business intelligence and analytics.
The Senior Product Owner role will work closely with the business, leadership teams and the BIR team supporting partners and management teams with insights, management reports and analysis for decision making. This role will help to lead design and implementation of the next wave of digital dashboards used by the Partners and Functional leaders globally. This individual will work with the business to design best in class analytics and visualization to drive actionable insights and will work closely with the technical tea to execute the vision. In additional, this person will play a key role in the change management—working with stakeholders on adoption, enablement, and on-going enhancements.

Takes initiative and executes independently; effectively prioritizes business problems based on urgency and relevancy
Interacts with Information Architects to understand how data is stored, modeled, and tagged—and can help navigate and guide technical design choices

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting, Information Systems, or Economics
Preferred years of finance or business analytic experience; less experience considered for exceptional performers
Sound analytical and reporting skills combined with excellent communication skills; written and oral
Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization
Experience with and exposure to data analytics and business intelligence tools e.g. SAP Business objects, Power BI, Tableau; writing queries (SQL a plus), building reports, database exposure, and diagnosing issues
