GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Group Head - Business
This role is in charge of a whole team and various client’s accounts. Primary job is to lead client accounts and digital creatives and strategies for all the brands responsible of being the only point of contact with the brands, it is the responsibility of the Group Head - Business to be updated and to update other department heads about the demands and plans that are ongoing with them . Pitching and Upselling are key aspects of this designation, reaching out to brands and how the cluster of clients can be increased is a priority of this role.

In this role, your goals will be
In 3 months
Serve as a business advisor not just to the client, but also to the management and the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional, internal teams to support a diverse pipeline of digital projects.
Provide client teams with consistent, valuable and relevant guidance for strategic projects.
In 6 months
Lead and manage a team of Sr. Manager, Manager and Jr. Managers and create a roadmap for future leaders.
Inspect reports and keep abreast of campaign outreach and effectiveness.
Translate brands marketing strategies into creative strategies and planning the yearly roadmap for these brands/campaigns in collaboration with the Brand Strategy team.
In 12 months
Possess a solid foundation of knowledge around what a digital product or service is.
Drive and build a solid business development model where the focus is not just to maintain the current client base but also getting in new business.
Ensuring deadlines and optimal credit period management are met.
Work closely with the strategic planner to improve the current scope of work and grow into a multi-faceted digital marketing agency.
Create innovative campaigns for the clientele and work closely
What your day job looks like
Analyze and evaluate competitive digital marketing environment.
Effective control and ownership of budgets and manpower allocation.
Lead the problem-solving charge to help connect the dots between business, brand & marketing goals, and the channels, tactics and technologies that will work together to provide actionable results.
Identify key objectives, measurement tools and frameworks to ensure team activities are measured effectively and campaigns are optimized.
Collaborate with senior clients and give them deeper insights into the dynamics of their business through the development of disciplined and thorough sales, marketing, and consumer analyses.
Continue to develop and implement standardized strategic planning tools to foster consistency over time and across projects. Complete this within the agency’s planning process but enhance the process through
What you will bring
Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in planning, strategic planning and brand communication with key focus in Digital.
Marketing and sales background with strong analytical capabilities a must.
Ability to think creatively and evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment.
Passionate about the quickly-evolving digital and social media environment.
Sincere curiosity about how people interact and are influenced online.
