At Micro Focus IT, We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering IT manager who can take up responsibility for provisioning customer focused IT solutions in partnership with other IT teams and ensure delivery of IT projects / programs that support business. This role will require the skills of understanding business needs, shaping strategy and partnering with external software vendors to ensure that delivery commitments are met.
The IT manager function reports to Director of Tech CoE and is mapped under the CIO organization of Micro Focus IT management.
This position will be in Bangalore, India and the executive will work collaboratively with partners in the country to execute statements of work.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MCA or equivalent. Master’s degree or an MBA is an added advantage.
At least 10 to 15 years of software development /consulting experience with a minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience. Experience in IT management and outsourcing is added advantage.
At least 3 years of experience in developing, configuring, and implementing SaaS based cloud applications is a must have. We currently do not have on prem applications to manage.
Technical skillsets: At least 2 years of strong techno functional experience in Enterprise cloud applications of Oracle (like Sales cloud, Service cloud, Net Suite, Open Air, Oracle Fusion, Oracle PBCS, Oracle Sales compensation (OSPC), Oracle Sales performance management (OSPM) etc) is required. Knowledge of groovy scripting is a plus.
Demonstrated experience both leading and developing teams, delivering results in a complex landscape.
Demonstrable experience working with IT and business leaders to develop strategies and help deploy IT capabilities to support business performance

Ensures the design, development, delivery, and supportability of solutions for businesses are in accordance with business and IT objectives.
Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and process capabilities for all business and IT constituents; drives architectural standards and simplification.
