You will manage a team of highly-talented and skilled inside sales specialists, driving the day-to-day execution to exceed business performance targets and coaching team members.
You will lead your inside sales team to achieve and exceed the quarterly and annual sales targets.
You will set the targets for the team and track the performance of the Inside Sales Specialist who may be selling Software, SaaS products and or Services, against individual and team level goals.
You will be expected to hire, build, train and mentor a highly qualified team that utilizes modern selling and marketing techniques and tools to engage, communicate and develop a relationship effectively with key business decision makers.
You will coach your team in customer listening, presentation and other business skills.
Build, motivate and mentor a high-functioning inside sales team to lead and drive sales conversations; hire new Inside Sales Specialists - typical team size of 10+ employees
Lead team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual team targets by generating sales pipeline, accelerating active opportunities and driving to close
Lead team to actively engage accounts to drive services consumption and up-sell and cross-sell based on strategic plans and needs
Accurately forecast, assess risk and identify exceptional performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews with senior management
Lead team members through example. Lead customer sales calls, demos and experience sessions.
Coach team members in modern sales and communications tools & techniques to effectively reach and sell including coaching the team to engage in product demos
Report on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and deliver competitive business insights, trends and analysis to drive ongoing performance improvements
Drive operational excellence of key center metrics including response rates, conversions, pipeline, velocity and accuracy
Manage the collaboration and teaming of with other functions and departments as well as senior management to effectively progress opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle
Improve sales and technical competency via mentoring; support individual professional development and growth
Obsess over customers and prospects to deliver a world-class customer engagement experience
Manage employee performance from not meeting expectations to exceptional levels.
5 to 10 years of technology related sales or business development experience most of which is for US/UK/ Canada clients and markets
2+ years of sales management experience with proven track record of successfully leading teams of 8 or more. Familiarity with modern sales techniques and tools preferred
Good understanding of software, mobile, Saas, cloud technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to coach team to successfully drive sales over phone, email, video and modern demonstration tools
Superior leadership skills with the ability to enable high performers to deliver and motivate under- performers to improve
Experience, background and confidence to initiate and drive business strategy discussions with C-level executives and business decision makers around industry drivers and workloads
Ability to identify the key aspects of a potential opportunity, nurture the opportunity to close, engage channel partners as needed and manage the customer relationship through success
General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual systems, processes, products and services quickly and accurately
Works well in a diverse team and enjoys a dynamic and changing environment
Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strategic sales leadership and strong cross business collaboration
Experience using CRMs, Telephony and other Contact Center Platforms and Tools
Good understanding of contact center / sales center operations, processes, systems, tools and metrics.
Strong lead generation skills (establishing initial contact and gathering information).
Experience in a Call Center / BPO environment desirable.
Ability to identify decision makers; be comfortable calling and dealing with both business and technical executives.
Ability to mine data, marketing databases and do market research and customer segmentation
Must have excellent client interaction skills, strong written and verbal communication skills in a neutral accent.
Must be well organized and be able to handle multiple tasks; Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have basic technical skills and knowledge required for sales and marketing of technical and software products to business / enterprise customers
Experience: 5 - 10 years (More Experienced Candidates will be considered for Process Leader)
Education: UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization; MBA Preferred
