This is an Individual contributor role & the Candidate must have a proven track record of direct sales to Government customers which includes DRDO’s / CSIR’s, Defense Manufacturing & services, MHA, Core Government & Various state and central PSU’s in Northern region. Develop large and small Opportunities, provides sales and technical support to assigned Channel partners. Represent the company in all demand creation activities like Hotel Seminars. Inhouse Seminars, Road shows & Exhibitions
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
a) Design and recommend sales programs and set short- and long-term sales strategies.
b) Develop, implement, and manage a business plan to meet or exceed regional objectives and sales goals to drive Gov. business in North Region
c) Carry a Revenue Quota & achieve the given target by hunting and farming new & Existing Accounts
d) Drive GEM business in North Region for the assigned segment / Accounts
e) Inhouse seminar’s / demand Creation Activities for the Assigned Accounts
f) Upgrade existing customers to buy more through Value Selling
g) Mapping of the Territory and Identify opportunities for growth within the assigned accounts
h) KPI setting & action plan deployment of the assigned segment using their past exposure / relationship with key Contacts
i) Provide direction, training, mentoring, coaching, and feedback to CP’s Sales Team
j) Channel management & development. Identify, evaluate, recommend / Joint coaching calls with CP’s Sales team
k) Work closely with CP’s sales team to set sales goals and objectives for CPs.
l) Work closely with other colleagues/ PM’s/ Peers and cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business.

Industrial Group Sales in Gov. segment for North region including Delhi NCR / Punjab / Haryana / Himachal / Rajasthan / UP, J&K & Uttarakhand
a) Market knowledge including Government & PSU’s accounts

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
1. Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics/Mechanical or MSc / BSc Physics / Electronics
2. MBA in Sales / Business Development / Marketing is an added advantage.
3. Min 8-10 years of Experience in sales to government agencies and departments.
4. Good communication (spoken and written) and presentation skills.
5. Having good knowledge about GEM
6. Open to Travel across North Region
