To successfully manage and execute sustainable process improvement, it is critical that a dedicated resource is organizing, aligning and leading Manufacturing Excellence (ME) processes leveraging Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies driving effective solution sustainment.
This role will focus on continuous improvement projects and initiatives driving improvement in all the functions including productivity, product Quality, On Time Delivery, OEE, and Cost performance – all while developing ME competency in the organization.
Deploy Strategy deployment Matrix, Develop Prioritization Matrix
Develop Manufacturing Excellence Road Map and Framework
Manage the projects to drive improvement as per Strategy metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals. Provides project leadership, mentors Operational Excellence team members, and provides training in Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
Provides Manufacturing Excellence expertise
Communicates to Top Management and ensure alignment
Develops a Lean Program and Leads/Guide continuous improvement projects leveraging cross functional teams to execute the strategy
Ensures continuous improvement competency is embedded at all levels of the organization
Facilitates Lean and Problem-Solving Workshops
Develop culture within organization with a passion for continuous improvement and Lean
Guide teams to transforms the technically complex processes into simple, manageable and stable processes.
Drives a sense of urgency & decisiveness with regard to project execution and solution effectiveness
Encourages process rigor & discipline within the manufacturing excellence context
Leverages a “systems” approach to continuous improvement and KPI deployment
Develops Manufacturing Excellence competency in the organization
Design Lean Metrics and implement IOT/Data Analysis for automating Key Metrics and Design the review mechanism
Lead plant level studies in cost management techniques for productivity enhancement & process improvement.
Provide analytical inputs to Operations Director on revenues, capacity utilization, costs and profitability for planning.
Devise & implement measurement tool for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan
Conducting process audits & process reviews for ensuring strict adherence to the process parameters / systems as per defined guidelines.
Optimizing available resources through capacity planning and continuous improvement to maximize productivity
BE / B Tech (Industrial / Production / Chemical / Mechanical) with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
10-15 years industry (preferably similar position) experience
Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
Strong technical knowledge of continuous improvement processes, Lean Transformation, Manufacturing Excellence and Six Sigma
