Wholesale Technology Digital is a major Service Line reporting into Wholesale Technology, but servicing the Commercial Bank. Digital (sometimes called Wholesale Technology IT) is the electronic front door for HSBC’s commercial customers, and the Digital team is responsible for developing, building, and improving on the digital banking platforms that our customers use. Large commercial and global banking customers use HSBCnet and Connect to transact, while small to medium-sized commercial customers use Digital Banking platforms (DBB) and emerging solutions such as Kinetic and Quantum.,
Wholesale Technology provides technology solutions to support HSBC’s four global businesses: Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets, Global Private Banking, and Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Wholesale Technology is part of Digital Business Services (previously called HOST). Wholesale Technology Digital faces off to Commercial Banking.

The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role)
HSBCnet operating from India locations under Wholesale Banking IT. The HSBCnet Team will develop Heritage as well as DTC projects for multiple business systems and products within Wholesale Banking. Consultant specialist will be play technical role on different projects under HSBCnet team to undertake the following responsibilities.
Participate in design, development and E2E testing for different projects.
Participate technical reviews and provide inputs.
Review the deliverables and ensure the quality of the product.
Follow quality process and quality improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do: (List out Key Responsibilities)
Acts as Senior developer for Entitlements team under Shared services.
What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)
Relevant work experience of 8-10 years in Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM
Knowledge on Rdz and its different functions
Good Analytical and problem solving skills
Good written and verbal communication
Team Player who is self and quick learner
Who can take complete ownership of assigned tasks, be accountable and committed.
Hardworking and flexible to work base on project demands.
Must have hands on experience into end to end impact analysis, creating high and low level design
Must have hands on experience on CICS, DB2 and Batch programs.
Good knowledge on SDLC, Agile and DevOps operating model would help.
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Production Support processes and procedures
Experience of using IT systems and reporting tools
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Ability to work as part of a Global virtual team across multiple regions.
Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking Domain.
Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedures.
