Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in the services space including knowledge-oriented fields such as Research, Analytics, Engineering or in functions such as consulting, Strategy Development, Business Development, Program Management, and General Management
Experience in digital marketing
Ability to prioritize, get things done (launch management), scale, and set goals, lead through vision, clarity and passion
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Training, and Product teams
Excellent communication/presentation skills and the capacity to influence key stakeholders to drive home the key initiatives
Demonstrated thought leadership
Strong people management and leadership skills
About the job
The Shopping Specialist team in India works with similar Specialist teams located in-market globally and provides expertise related to performance optimization, business opportunity identification and campaign performance reporting for digital marketing products that are emerging, complex or strategic within the Google suite of ads products. The team works closely with several other teams that have a technical, commercial, and serviceability focus towards capability building around Google Ads products. The key success measures of the team include delivering on the performance marketing goals of customers. In addition, developing tools, processes, and practices towards enabling a wider adoption of these products are also critical success measures of the team. A focus on both operational efficiency and effectiveness is important to enable doing more with less.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shape how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Partner closely with Specialist teams located in-market to ensure that programs run smoothly, and build trusting relationships with the management of those in-region specialist teams
Coach team members to deliver on business requirements exceeding set objectives, and conduct performance reviews periodically towards leading a team that always delivers
Own business reviews and engage with senior stakeholders and leaders on a regular basis
Contribute significantly to and own the strategy development and execution for the team, including in areas such as stakeholder management, talent recruitment, on-boarding and continuous upskilling, vendorization and automation, operational efficiency and effectiveness, and customer servicing.
