Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Operations, Risk, Audit, Process Excellence, Automation and Product, Analytics and Modeling. We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.
Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.)and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services,Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology).
About the Role
Capital Market Business Analyst who can interface with business analysts, management, and other technology groups across WFS.
Responsibilities include development and maintenance of complex application and supporting the application as an escalation point
Responsible for providing business analysis expertise for technology initiatives in support of a business desk and/or systems application(s)within the Securities businesses.
Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams to interpret and develop requirements for business problems and recommend applications development / enhancement solutions.
Use capital markets and technology application(s) knowledge to conduct detailed analysis in response to business &technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements.
Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
Create and maintain project / systems documentation and proactively monitor & manage project schedules and deliverables.
Work with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes. Participate in system testing and project development lifecycle management.
Overall Experience 12+years and 4+ years of experience in capital market
Extensive experience in the capital markets business and processes. Specifically in back office functionality (e.g. settlements, reconciliations, BD Ops etc.)
Detailed end to end knowledge of operational flows for different asset classes (FX, Fixed Income, Equities etc.)
Hands-on experience working with any Broadridge products (GLOSS, IMPACT etc.).
Extensive knowledge of OTC derivative products
Ability to write clear concise requirements documents and ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse relationships and foster a collaborative team dynamic with various stakeholders located globally.
Must possess strong analytics skills – ability to quickly analyze data to identify key insights and apply them to the business requirements
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, and possess time management skills
Good to have GPTM product knowledge but not required.
