The Leader in this role will be responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of Reconciliation BoW technology, as well as manage stakeholder relationships autonomously. The incumbent would represent operations technology,
Maintain a strong performance management track record within a team environment rooted in accountability, integrity, and leadership
Provide Leadership to direct reports and team members
Lead in mid-year and annual team member reviews as well as talent management and overall compensation decisions
Translate application storyboards and use case into financial application functionality
Participate in continuous Integrations Building/Maintenance
Providing Technical road map as necessary working with other GRU leads
Define code standard and monitor code quality
Providing Leadership and guidelines to the development team
Provides technical information required in the preparation of annual budget figures for the Applications Development Division, including needs for upgrading hardware and software and resources needed to ensure timely response to needs of user departments
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Proven ability to translate user requirements into direct system solutions
Proven ability to manage multiple project deliveries across global team or vendor team
Proven ability to establish and maintain business partnerships and client relationships
Prior delivery experience within Finance domain
Strong prior knowledge within reconciliation tools e.g. TLM Smartstream, Intellimatch. TLM knowledge preferred
Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend
Performing program design and design/code reviews
Knowledge of DevOps, QA automation tools/processes within SDLC
Producing documentation based on the company's standards
Database fundamentals including modelling/normalization
Prior knowledge with reconciliation tools ideally more than 10+ years
5+ years of Prior experience managing a diverse team across direct and indirect staff
Experience working in any RDBMS(Oracle)
Agile, SDLC, Vendor Management, Banking related systems experience is strongly preferred.
Good working knowledge of tools like BitBucket (or similar), JIRA
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal courteously, professionally, and tactfully with multiple business groups within the organization
Ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively is required.
Good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
