AECOM is bidding as a project management consultant for an upcoming project comprises of 177 New Retail Outlets, 2 Mini Depot, and 28 Additive dosing facilities spread across the country and seeking applicants for the position of Operation Manager.
Job responsibilities included but not limited to-
+ Manage the delivery of client and AECOM HSSE requirements
+ Manage the delivery of projects to the programme timelines
+ Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budgets
+ Where appropriate, deliver savings on build projects
+ Manage the delivery of dealer projects and programmes to agreed time and cost
Typical generic task schedule to achieve the above :
+ Attend monthly safety meetings, ensure messages conveyed to the operational staff, manage the safety messages into the projects and audit to give confidence that the safety is being implemented in accordance with client and AECOM H&S processes and procedures. Feedback safety learning’s into the Safety Manager to provide continuous learning for the whole team. Provide safety training for operational staff and look for opportunities to give training to the supply chain.
+ Manage a team of Build Project Managers to deliver projects to time, cost and quality standards. Ensure that the PM/CMs are attending to all the stages of project development; delivery and close out, for example, scoping visits; design reviews; post tender meetings; cost plan reviews; pre-start meetings; regular site progress meetings; high quality handovers; financial close meetings; and safety audits.
+ For Dealer projects, develop systems aligned closely with Build and Maintenance to ensure compliance while giving the solutions sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of the dealer business.
+ People Management will form a large part of this role; ensuring that annual performance plans are agreed with all operational staff; regular reviews and communication to ensure that work is delivered within the agreed values of the AECOM and the client
Job Location- Pan India, open to travel all construction site locations
Duration of Project -1 year
+ Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15-20 plus years of work experience.
+ More than 5 years’ experience in an operational role
+ 5+ years Petrochem knowledge/experience
+ A leader in compliance and ethics
+ Confident and capable individual with strong client focus
+ Recognised construction or design qualification (or similar experience)
+ Experienced in managing a diverse operational team
+ Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment
+ Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
+ Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word
+ Clean Driving Licence
+ Oil & Gas downstream experience
+ Proven track record of excellent client management relationship skills
+ Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
+ Confident in formulating & expressing robust opinions. Assertive & challenging as required
+ Able to build trusting relationships with all levels of employees and to gain respect & confidence of others
+ Ability to adjust rapidly and frequently to new situations & to help others accept and adapt to change
