Developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems.
Analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies
Troubleshoot product performance issues reported by sales and customer service teams.
Inspecting the plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
Update engineering manager with regular reporting of progress and status.
Specify and evaluate supplier components,subsystems and services.
Attend and provide product knowledge at trade shows, as needed.
Assist in the evaluation and troubleshooting of products.
Works independently and with minimal supervision.
